My name is Doug Nacker and I am the owner/operator of Shattered Sound DJ Entertainment. Thank you for checking out my page and learning more about me and my service. 

The Beginning...

I started out DJing in 2000 when I was a senior in High School. It started out small and I had a partner that jumped into it with me and we immediately started DJing school dances, holiday parties and eventually...weddings! Shortly after graduation, we split up and I bought out his half of the business and continued doing gigs and also started DJing at night clubs, such as Bruiser's Night Club in Stevens Point, WI where I was the Saturday night house DJ. In 2002, I had to temporarily hang it up as I joined the Army and was deployed to Iraq.​

The Comeback!

In 2005, I returned to central Wisconsin and jumped back into DJing almost right away. I landed the Friday night spot back at Bruiser's Night Club. One night I was DJing at Bruiser's when WIFC was also there hosting an event, and WIFC On-Air DJ, Belky, suggested to me that I apply at the radio station. A month later, I was a weekend DJ at 95.5 WIFC under the radio name, Doug Michaels. It was a lot of fun and I was a part of WIFC on weekends for 6 years!​

Shattered Glass DJ Entertainment

In 2007, I really wanted to get back into mobile DJing. After acquiring the equipment and landing on the name of the service, I jumped back into the mobile scene. I was doing multiple weddings, school dances, anniversaries, graduations, reunions and more. My passion for entertaining at events was stronger than ever. In the meantime, I was still working at WIFC, but since I no longer lived in the Stevens Point area, I started DJing at night clubs in the Wausau area on nights that I didn't have a mobile DJ gig. I DJed at bars/clubs like Breakaway Night Club, I.C. Willy's, Great Dane, and was the primary DJ at Bullshooters Saloon in Weston for nearly it's entire run before closing it's doors. I ran lights for the bands, as well as providing music between sets and DJing on nights that bands didn't play.

​The End?

In 2013 I found myself in a position where I could no longer DJ because of my job situation. I was not able to guarantee weekends off to DJ events, so I did what I had to do...sell all of my equipment and hang it up again.​

NEW BEGINNING!!!

Enter 2020...my job situation has now presented me the opportunity to follow my passion for DJing once again. Armed with a new arsenal of DJ technology and my ever expanding collection of music and music videos, SHATTERED SOUND DJ ENTERTAINMENT will take my events to levels I could have only dreamed of with Shattered Glass DJ Entertainment.​

I've been a radio DJ, bar/club DJ and of course a mobile DJ, so you don't have to worry about getting some DJ that doesn't know what they're doing.
